LA-based Crypto Culinary Club to sell celebrity chef NFTs starting this Friday
While you don’t hear a ton of big news in the ever-expanding world of NFTs as it pertains to the hospitality sector, the Crypto Culinary Club has made a bit of a splash this week with their inaugural membership opportunity announcement.
Founded by Kapono Dacascos and co-owned by celebrity chef Michael Symon, Crypto Culinary Club will offer its first wave of members access to events with food prepared by notable chefs like Kristen Kish, Esther Choi, Eric Adjepong and Cat Cora, in addition to private virtual cooking classes, pop-ups and more. The platform’s membership will live on the Ethereum blockchain.
“[I’m excited] about having the opportunity to connect with the club members through the personal cooking demos and the incredible events that will take place. We will be hosting these events both individually and with other chefs that I have the utmost respect for. These chefs are not only some of the best in the business, but are some of the most genuine people I know.” said chef Michael Symon in this week’s chef NFT announcement.
Symon is also a partner in Crypto Culinary Club.
The tokens will go on sale on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 12 p.m. PST. Only 9,750 tokens will be able made available to purchase to secure membership to the Crypto Culinary Club at a cost of 3ETH per token.
