Shibarium Set to Launch in July, According to Shytoshi Kusama

  • Lucie predicts July as the month for the Shibarium mainnet launch.
  • This was after Shibarium1 had predicted an August launch.

The specific date for the official launch of Shibarium on the mainnet has been a topic of discussion as the community awaits another groundbreaking upgrade. Just this week, LUCIE, a Shiba Inu (SHIB) community influencer and a member of the SHIB marketing team shared a post featuring a screenshot of Shibarium1, an anonymous yet prominent Shibarium developer, stating that the launch is closer than expected.

In one of his posts, Shibarium1 predicted that Shibarium may be launched in August. However, Lucie believes that the launch could be done in July. According to her, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of the project, also guessed July. Also, she hinted that multiple teams are working on the project with a focus on the integration of artificial intelligence.

Yesterday, @shibarium_ guessed that the launch of the mainnet would be in August, while my guess is for Q3 and @ShytoshiKusama guessed July. The Shiba team is confident about the launch and has multiple teams working on it, including AI integration.

Our estimate is for 2023, and we are not pumping anything but focusing on sustainable growth. The testing process and security audits are crucial before the launch. So STOP SAYING YOU DON’T HAVE AN ESTIMATED TIME You do!!! Q2 – Q3 2023.

Lucie also issued a disclaimer that her prediction may not materialize if anything goes wrong during the testing.

On Discord, Shibarium1 assured the community that the team is working to accelerate the release time and also disclosed that the development process is going well. For now, no challenge has been encountered in the testing phase. With the much anticipation surrounding the project, the team has taken note of fake giveaways associated with Shibarium and has warned users accordingly.

The Shibarium and Ethereum bridge

Lucie had earlier shared an interesting insight on the Ethereum and the Shibarium bridge. According to her, it requires a secure and robust cross-chain bridge to move between two large-scale blockchain networks. Shibarium has achieved this by making use of both Plasma and PoS security to come up with a bi-directional transactional and trustless environment between Shibarium and Ethereum.

This enables users to transfer tokens between the two networks without any third-party risks or impact on market liquidity. The network bridge is designed to be fast, cost-effective, and flexible, and also serves as a scaling solution. It utilizes a dual consensus architecture (Plasma + PoS platform) to prioritize speed and decentralization, and has deliberately enabled arbitrary state transitions on its sidechains along with EVM support.

The Shibarium beta version is also making waves as it records daily transactions of 428,231 and a total transaction of 12,406,178. As of press time, its total wallet address had reached 16,019,306 with total blocks of 995,686 and an average block time of 7.5 seconds.

In a recent interview with International Business Times, Kusama disclosed that the team is working on the UI (user interface) for some secret projects.

Shiba Inu has a current neutral market sentiment with a trading price of $0.000009. Also note that the asset “killing” more zeroes to hit $0.0001 is possible, but not in the short term.
